Analyze failures and propose improvements to processes and equipment The Maintenance Supervisor oversees and coordinates the maintenance team’s activities, ensuring efficient execution of preventive and corrective maintenance, control of technical resources, and compliance with operational, safety, and quality standards across company units. **1\. Key Responsibilities and Activities** **1\.1 RESPONSIBILITIES** * Lead the maintenance team (assistants, associates, analysts, and technicians), assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and promoting technical development; * Supervise the planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance across units; * Ensure adherence to schedules, procedures, and safety regulations; * Monitor and evaluate the performance of third-party service providers; * Validate and review schedules, technical reports, and indicators generated by the team; * Analyze recurring failures and propose solutions or improvements to processes and equipment; * Manage the maintenance budget, supporting procurement, contracting, and investment decisions; * Manage the technical inventory jointly with the analyst, ensuring availability of materials and tools; * Promote standardization of technical and administrative maintenance procedures; * Serve as the liaison between maintenance and other departments and areas; * Lead technical training and team capacity-building initiatives; * Maintain a positive organizational climate, discipline, and team engagement. **1\.2 KEY ACTIVITIES** * Supervise the maintenance technical team (assistants, associates, and analysts), ensuring alignment on tasks, deadlines, and execution standards; * Distribute and prioritize corrective and preventive maintenance requests across units, ensuring schedule adherence; * Monitor third-party service execution, ensuring technical compliance, timeliness, and safety; * Control and review schedules, reports, and indicators produced by the team, ensuring data accuracy and consistency; * Manage the technical inventory (materials, parts, tools) jointly with the analyst, promoting restocking and consumption control; * Analyze recurring equipment or unit failures and propose corrective and preventive actions; * Validate budgets and quotations for materials and services to ensure optimal cost-effectiveness and technical feasibility; * Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and technical procedure standards during service execution; * Conduct training and team technical development to support continuous capability enhancement and process standardization; * Collaborate with partner areas (procurement, engineering, operations, stores) to align maintenance demands, deadlines, and priorities; * Develop and monitor maintenance KPIs, identifying deviations and proposing improvements.
