Process quality and safety management Operate the most complex production processes for steam and cooling systems, independently performing technical tasks including measurement, treatment, and monitoring of chemical products and the water and effluent treatment plant, thereby ensuring proper functioning of machinery and equipment and departmental productivity. Act as a development agent for other area team members by providing support and training to standardize processes and ensure delivery quality. **Responsibilities and Duties** Measure chemical dosages and calculate concentrations; Operate pumping systems and control fixed machinery operations; Operate steam generation equipment, managing water, air, and biomass controls to produce steam meeting quality and safety standards; Bring the boiler into operational mode, performing all biomass (conveyor belt) and water maneuvers in accordance with the logical startup sequence for a boiler; Prepare machinery and equipment for operation and independently control boiler operation and water quality; Operate the steam production and cooling system processes during your shift, verifying equipment functionality, assigning tasks to be performed, and supervising operators’ work to ensure productivity and safety; Independently operate boilers, cooling towers, chillers, water and effluent treatment plants; Prepare daily production and quality reports to identify deviations from production process standards, implement necessary corrections, and inform the Utilities Team Leader and Supervisor; Perform daily inspections of departmental equipment to identify potential failures and communicate findings to maintenance departments, the Utilities Team Leader, and Supervisor; Complete forms, checklists, and similar documents; Prepare shift incident reports and relay information to the next shift; Independently prepare reports containing steam production data, water production data, chemical treatment data, and machine downtime hours for overall production monitoring and control purposes; Guide other team members on company regulations, work procedures, safety protocols, and other job-related matters; Identify and evaluate causes of equipment malfunction to arrange prompt necessary repairs; Maintain organization, hygiene, and cleanliness of work areas to ensure a conducive working environment; Carry out job responsibilities while strictly adhering to all occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations and procedures established by the organization, and consistently use all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) required for the position and department.
