Teamwork and attention to detail in pastry making Job Description: * Produce and finish desserts, cakes, pies, fine confections, and pastry preparations, ensuring flavor, quality, and presentation; * Prepare desserts for restaurants, room service, coffee breaks, and events according to hotel standards; * Suggest and develop new dessert recipes and presentations, keeping up with pastry trends; * Ensure proper aesthetic presentation and standardization of served desserts; * Control and organize pastry-specific ingredients and raw materials, observing expiration dates and storage conditions; * Follow and guide the team on good food handling and hygiene practices; * Support the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in menu planning and sector production organization; * Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized pastry environment, utensils, and equipment; * Mandatory use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) – hairnet, apron, thermal gloves, disposable gloves, safety shoes, disposable mask; * Comply with cold room access regulations, permitted only for the Chef and Sous Chef, with mandatory use of required PPE; * Mandatory participation in standard operating procedure trainings for the area of operation, delivered via EAD, in-person, or as directed by management. Essential Requirements: * Prior professional pastry experience (hotels, restaurants, or large-scale bakeries); * Knowledge of pastry techniques; * Creativity, attention to detail, organization, and ability to work in a team.
