




We are looking for a **Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader** to lead the mechanical team in maintenance activities, support planning, and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment—aiming to maintain plant availability and reliability while complying with company standards and applicable legislation. **If you are organized, communicative, and seek a dynamic environment for professional growth, this is the place for you!** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Responsibilities:** * Contribute to equipment availability, reliability, preservation, and proper operation of the plant by managing teams, supporting planning for execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities, equipment recovery and testing, commissioning of new systems, and coordination of contracted maintenance services—all within scheduled timelines and estimated costs. * Coordinate teams and activities, support planning, execute tasks, and ensure quality, deadlines, and budget adherence through best maintenance practices, guided by company procedures and team supervision. * Restore operational conditions of plant equipment, analyze failures to prevent recurrence, and sustain equipment reliability via continuous improvement—including studies, development of new technologies, and process-generation improvements. * Identify, suggest, and enhance updates to equipment technical records through report writing, form completion, and technical documentation. * Develop technical specifications and procedures; review technical documentation; analyze service supply proposals; issue purchase requisitions; inspect and receive materials; analyze operational parameters, data, and maintenance history; manage spare parts logistics and budgeting to maintain technical reserves of critical equipment required for plant operation. * Participate in employee performance evaluations and goal assessments for team members; contribute to and guide technical and personal learning and growth; conduct and receive feedback and career development dialogues. * Enable and guide the development of Maintenance Technicians by sharing expertise and promoting technical training and retraining on plant equipment. * Adjust and exchange experiences and standardize activities in alignment with peers from other Company units. * Comply with—and ensure compliance with—applicable external and internal Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management regulations, and act responsibly in processes under your scope to support implementation of certification standards adopted by the Company—including participation in internal or external audits. * Collaborate with fellow employees in the Plant’s Emergency Response and Firefighting Brigade, potentially participating in emergency drills, high-altitude rescues, confined-space rescues, and first aid—following company-provided training. * Actively participate in corporate risk management, health, and safety programs, engaging with or serving on the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA) when appointed or elected. * Perform minor vehicle trips to the plant as needed. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Prerequisites:** * Technical degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering, with active CFT (Technical Certification). * Driver’s License – Category B. * Basic Microsoft Office package. * Communication skills. * Team management experience. * Basic knowledge of defensive driving. * Advanced ability to read and interpret technical drawings and flowcharts. * Experience in mechanical maintenance for CGHs, PCHs, and/or hydroelectric power plants. * Advanced knowledge of maintenance procedures, processes, plans, methods, techniques, metrology, and mechanical construction materials. * Intermediate proficiency in maintenance management tools and software, and technical documentation systems. **Additional Information** **For You and Your Dependents.** * Medical and dental insurance. **Exclusively For You.** * Meal and/or food allowance; * Transportation allowance; * Private pension plan; * Group life insurance; * Gym / Wellness programs; * Language program; * Variable compensation program. **ENGIE** has been present in Brazil for over 20 years, leading electricity generation in the country and delivering innovative services and solutions to its customers.
