WHAT WILL YOU DO AS AN EXPEDITION ASSISTANT? * Record contractual characteristics and parameters in the system to enable accurate issuance of freight documents and invoices, and maintain and update freight rate tables for contracting transportation services. * Release daily shipments, continuing with the release of overnight vehicles still parked in the yard. * Process pickup releases by generating and analyzing reports, separating required documents for cargo release, and ensuring same-day delivery. * Close released documents, updating occurrences and statuses to facilitate deliveries. * Perform electronic archiving of documents and send physical documents to CEDOC. * Provide support to drivers in case of vehicle blocks or other situations upon their request. * Maintain the palletization control spreadsheet with necessary data such as value and weight. * Perform other related tasks as requested by your immediate supervisor.
