Job Summary: R&D professional to develop intelligent, low-cost electronic controls for refrigeration systems, supporting the Nidec GA business and driving growth in the domestic segment. Working in a global and diverse team driven by innovation Nidec Global Appliance’s Research and Development (R\&D) division is responsible for researching and developing products applied to refrigeration systems. The R\&D Electronics team — Hardware and Mechanics — is responsible for developing electronic controls for refrigeration systems, seeking intelligent technological solutions with low-cost, highly reliable products that meet diverse market and application requirements to support the Nidec GA business and foster growth in the domestic segment. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Numerical circuit simulation; * Study of static converter topologies, preparation of technical reports; * Evaluation of standards, preparation of technical reports on standards; * Preparation of samples for testing, SMD and PTH soldering, thermocouple instrumentation, functional testing; * Development of test plans, execution of electrical and thermal tests on printed circuit boards (PCBs); * Reading and creation of schematic diagrams; * Interpretation and creation of PCB layouts; * Component definition/specification (diodes, capacitors, inductors, semiconductors, microcontrollers, DSPs, etc.) for PCBs; * Operation of laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, wattmeters, regulated power supplies, multimeters, etc.; * Use of project management and product lifecycle management software; * Development and management of technical bills of materials for product manufacturing. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Currently enrolled in the 8th semester or higher of Electrical or Electronic Engineering; * Intermediate English (reading and writing). **Desirable (Optional) Requirements:** * Knowledge of PCB design software such as Altium Designer; * Knowledge of electrical/electronic simulation software such as LTspice and/or PSIM. **Additional Information** * Health Insurance; * Pharmaceutical Assistance; * Group Life Insurance; * Embraco Sports Association (ADE); * On-site Restaurant; * Special Transportation. **Join us to improve people’s daily lives — today and in the future** At Nidec Global Appliance, part of Nidec Corporation, the world is your workplace.
