Description

Job Summary: Support coordination and provide technical assistance for sanitation operations, waste treatment, urban cleaning, and the development of projects and licensing. Key Highlights: 1. Technical support for sanitation and urban cleaning operations 2. Development of plans, projects, and technical studies 3. Assistance with environmental licensing and operational procurement Support the manager in coordinating and providing technical assistance for operation and maintenance activities of sanitary landfills, water supply systems, sewage collection and treatment, and urban cleaning services. * Operation and maintenance of sanitary landfills, health service waste treatment and final disposal units, and leachate treatment system units; * Operation and maintenance of water intake, treatment, supply, and distribution systems; * Operation and maintenance of sewage collection and treatment systems; * Operation and maintenance of solid waste collection services, including common, recyclable, special, and health service wastes; * Operation and maintenance of general cleaning services, including manual and/or mechanized street sweeping, mechanized weed control, mechanized catch basin cleaning, curb painting, and cleaning of squares and beaches; * Prepare work plans, executive projects, and technical studies related to provided services or new services; * Prepare technical drawings and maps using CAD software (AutoCAD); * Assist in developing activities of the Engineering, Commercial, Operations, Waste Treatment, Sanitary Landfill, Urban Cleaning, or Sanitation Departments; * Prepare, under guidance from the Technical Manager, environmental licensing processes for urban cleaning and sanitation activities with municipal, state, and federal licensing authorities; * Prepare procurement requests, verify and classify invoices for operational inputs and services. Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree Desired Qualifications: * Civil Engineering, Bachelor's Degree * Environmental Engineering, Bachelor's Degree Personal vehicle Willingness to travel
