




As a member of the Central Quality Team, the manager's mission is to lead the Quality Management System (QMS) governance at all Nidec GA Sites. The focus is on the following Quality Control and Improvement processes: * Supplier's Quality Assurance (SQA) involves standardizing the methods and tools, training, and auditing all the necessary teams inside Operations and at Suppliers regarding the quality control of the outsourced components. * Quality Scorecard (QSC) involves standardizing the methods and tools, training, and auditing all the necessary teams inside Operations regarding quality control in our internal manufacturing environment. * Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) aims to standardize problem-solving techniques, quality-related project management, and training for all operations teams. **Responsibilities and Duties** * To manage your team concerning compensation, performance, merit, promotions, hiring, and termination; * To support the GA Quality Director in deploying the strategic and tactical QMS improvement plan and adequately manage your available budget/resources; * To define, support the implementation, and sustain the QMS Quality Control and Improvement processes, standards, KPIs, methods, and tools through all Nidec GA Sites, keeping the company updated with the latest methodologies; * To coach and audit the operation’s quality teams at all levels at all Nidec GA Sites regarding the execution of the QMS Quality Control and Improvement activities, assuring that: i. the control plan is followed; ii. the control plan anomalies/alarms are properly communicated; iii. the reaction plan is effective and on time executed; iv. there is strong discipline in executing routine management activities of the Quality Control and Improvement process; v. the project’s prioritization, execution, and monitoring methods are standardized. * To actively support Nidec GA Sites in achieving their quality-related targets through consistent routine management and continuous improvement. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Minimum educational requirement: Engineering Graduation. * Quality Management experience in complex and demanding industrial sectors: leading and championing process control and improvement initiatives in complex industrial settings; supporting strategic planning and deployment initiatives and helping KPIs to determine organizational improvement. * Language: minimum requirement (English Advanced); Desirable (Spanish / Italian). **Join us to improve people's daily lives—today and in the future** At Nidec Global Appliance, part of Nidec Corporation, the world is your workplace.
