The incumbent is responsible for the grinding machining process of medium-complexity and precision parts, such as: rough grinding of components, cutting tools, dies, and medium/high-complexity jigs and fixtures on conventional surface, internal/external cylindrical, and centerless grinders; reads and interprets drawings, tables, and sketches; prepares the machine by mounting, balancing, and securing grinding wheels to ensure rough grinding meets established precision and productivity standards. Possesses basic knowledge of CNC grinders.
