The Maintenance Planning and Control Analyst (MPCA) is the professional responsible for organizing, scheduling, and monitoring maintenance activities, ensuring efficient use of resources and proper execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans. This role analyzes KPIs, controls work orders and materials, interfaces with suppliers, and provides technical support to teams, while also identifying improvements and standardizing processes. With a systemic vision and a focus on reliability, the MPCA directly contributes to optimizing equipment performance and to strategic maintenance management.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Develop preventive, predictive, and planned corrective maintenance plans, ensuring alignment with maintenance strategies and equipment criticality (ABC classification).
* Schedule work orders considering prioritization, available resources, maintenance windows, and operational impact.
* Estimate standard time, human resources, materials, and tools required for each activity.
* Ensure compliance with the PMOC (Preventive Maintenance, Operation, and Control Plan – HVAC System).
* Ensure compliance with and updating of the SPDA (Lightning Protection System).
* Prepare budgets in coordination with suppliers.
* Monitor the workflow of work orders, ensuring execution, closure, and quality of recorded information.
* Track maintenance KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, backlog, physical availability, plan compliance rate).
* Conduct failure analyses (RCA – Root Cause Analysis).
* Manage technical inventory jointly with the maintenance warehouse, ensuring availability of critical spare parts.
* Update maintenance plans, technical registries, material lists, and equipment histories.
* Prepare managerial reports and performance dashboards.
* Serve as the reference user for the maintenance management system (SAP PM Module).
* Align weekly schedules with technicians and operations.
* Support the technical team in defining maintenance scopes (Maintenance Plans) and best execution practices.
* Participate in routine meetings, planning meetings, and continuous improvement committees.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
* Prior experience in MPCA (planning/scheduling) or industrial maintenance areas.
* Experience in KPI analysis and development of preventive/predictive maintenance plans.
* Experience in failure analysis (RCA).
* Preferred: knowledge of SAP PM Module.
* Preferred: specialization in Maintenance Engineering, TPM, Lean, or related areas.
