Responsible for providing **specialized technical support and critical analysis** throughout all phases of industrial automation, process control, and instrumentation projects and execution. Their role is essential in ensuring **compliance with Automation Engineering standards, contractual requirements, and Quality, Safety, Environment, and Health (QSMS) standards**, covering activities from technical and automation engineering documentation development and review to supervision and monitoring of automated system installations and commissioning, with a focus on optimizing and resolving automation engineering challenges. * **Development of Technical and Automation Engineering Documentation:** Develop documentation to support procurement processes and construction activities, including schedules, data books, technical specifications for equipment and control systems, and cost estimates for automation projects. Generate and analyze area-specific technical drawings (logic diagrams, functional diagrams, instrumentation and panel layouts, equipment arrangements, I/O tables, control loops, automation flowcharts, preliminary designs, and standardized symbology). Produce instrument data sheets, calculation reports for control loop performance and system performance, descriptive memoranda for automation systems, and technical opinions on programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCSs), and industrial networks. * **Analysis and Validation of Automation Projects:** Perform detailed verification and critical analysis of automation, instrumentation, and control projects, as well as engineering reports, identifying inconsistencies and proposing technical solutions. Verify compliance with contractual and project requirements, and with PETROBRAS, ABNT, and other applicable national and international Automation Engineering standards. * **Support for Supervision and Monitoring of Installations and Commissioning:** Conduct field technical visits to operational and administrative units to survey existing automation systems, instrument conditions, industrial networks, and other supporting data required for the role. Monitor automation services on-site, verifying compliance with design specifications and immediately reporting any irregularities, deviations, or work performed contrary to the Contract, Technical Standards, and good practices of Automation Engineering to the Supervision team. Support daily quantitative measurement of executed services, recording physical progress, allocated resources, deviations occurred, and photographic evidence of automation and instrumentation work. Provide technical support during audits of automation projects and construction works. * **QSMS (Quality, Safety, Environment, and Health) Management and Analysis in Automation:** Participate in developing Risk Analyses for Work Permits (WP/WPT) in automation projects. Ensure implementation of execution procedures, TRANSPETRO/PETROBRAS procedures, and PETROBRAS and ABNT standards related to Safety, Environment, and Health across all phases of automation projects. Apply Compliance Verification Procedures (CVP), conduct behavioral audits, and deliver Safety, Environment, and Health Dialogues (SEHD) at work fronts. Record, report, and assist in analyzing SMS deviations, incidents, and area-specific SMS indicators, aiming to prevent recurrence. * **Automation Project Progress Management and Reporting:** Prepare progress reports on physical and financial advancement of automation work fronts, including development of progress curves. Analyze and identify allocated resources and deviations against service schedules, in accordance with QSMS requirements. Prepare reports tracking contract deadlines and milestones.
