




Job Summary: Responsible for component measurements, initiating the support chain, and interpreting reports—with emphasis on integrated management system standards. Key Highlights: 1. Maintain 5S conditions and participate in continuous improvement initiatives Responsible for performing measurements on product components specified in the Product Control Plan (SOP) within Measurement Cells. Initiate the support chain when critical dimension limits established for the product deviate from product/process control specifications. Interpret low-complexity conclusive report results and provide measurement outcomes in control charts and/or reports to support machine, component, or product adjustments. Perform basic maintenance/calibration of measurement instruments and devices. Focus on compliance with the Integrated Management System standards. **Responsibilities and Duties** Key responsibilities for this position include: * Knowledge of and ability to operate simple specialized component measurement machines in the Measurement Cell; * Perform component measurements as defined in the Product Control Plan (SOP) within Measurement Cells; * Deliver measurement results in control charts and/or monitoring reports; * Initiate the support chain when critical dimension limits for the product deviate from specifications; * Perform cleaning and maintenance of measurement devices, instruments, and standards; * Maintain 5S conditions and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Measurement Cell; * Be familiar with Embraco’s Metrology Standards described in the Quality Manual, as well as PGEs 000180 and 000185; * Follow 6S instructions (maintain a clean and organized workplace; ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use) and adhere to Nidec’s Golden Safety Rules. **Requirements and Qualifications** Mandatory requirements for this position: * Completed technical degree (WITH DIPLOMA) in Quality, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Automation, Materials, or related fields; * Knowledge of technical drawing reading and interpretation.
