




Job Summary: Performs lamination activities to produce thermoplastic parts using spray-up and hand-lay-up processes, under supervision and with appropriate PPE. Key Highlights: 1. Keeps the workplace clean and organized **JOB DESCRIPTION:** * Performs lamination activities to produce molded thermoplastic parts via the spray\-up process, wherein the operator handles the machine by pulling the trigger and performing necessary movements over the surface of the desired object during atomization of fiberglass, catalyst, and polyester resin; * In the hand\-lay\-up process, parts are produced without machine assistance and atomization is performed manually; for both processes, manual compaction of fiberglass and resin—applied using tools such as brushes and rollers—is required to eliminate air bubbles and calibrate substrate thickness; * Prepares polyester compound for use in sharp corners and edges of the intended product; * Prepares resin for use by adding fillers and catalyst, as specified; * Trims excess materials using spatulas, demolds the part after curing; * Applies gel coat paint onto mold surfaces using a spray gun. * All activities are performed under supervision, following work instructions or based on similarity, utilizing various materials such as resin, fiberglass, plastic compound, sandpaper, and other materials as needed; * Maintains a clean and organized workplace, properly disposing of waste generated during activities in accordance with its classification; * Uses required PPE for the job. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Minimum 2 years of documented work experience in this role. * Completed high school education.
