Job Summary: A professional to monitor the development of rolled products, optimize quality projects, and ensure compliance with technical standards and customer requirements. Key Highlights: 1. Monitoring development and approval of new products 2. Optimizing quality projects and maintaining quality 3. Liaising with the laboratory and improving performance **Responsibilities:** * Monitoring development and approval activities for new cold-rolled and coated products destined for the Automotive and Industrial markets; * Collecting data to optimize quality projects for currently supplied steels, aiming to improve productivity and maintain quality; * Updating and developing technical standards / manufacturing specifications for steels; * Addressing coils blocked due to mechanical properties and surface roughness to improve performance; * Analyzing and updating general technical standards and customer-specific standards in the system to ensure product compliance; * Serving as the liaison between the Products team and the Laboratory. **Requirements:** * Technical degree in Metallurgy, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering; * Intermediate English proficiency; **Desirable:** * Knowledge of physical, chemical, and mechanical properties of steel; * Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and RoHS Directive standards; * Practical experience with statistical analysis, product application, and types of steels/coatings.
