Job Summary: This temporary IT Technician II, focused on vacation coverage, is responsible for hardware, operating system, and application support and maintenance, ensuring the proper functioning of the IT infrastructure. Application and software support **About the position:** **TEMPORARY VACATION COVERAGE:** IT TECHNICIAN II. **° Working hours:** Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 17:00 (subject to change at the company's or client's discretion). **° Work location address:** Gloria, Joinville /SC. **° Employment type:** CLT, fully on-site. **° What we are looking for:** **Education:** Completed technical degree or undergraduate degree in IT (completed or currently pursuing); **Computer skills:** Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); **Language:** Technical English; **Experience:** 2 years. ° Key responsibilities (essential duties/tasks): **Equipment/hardware support and maintenance:** Install or remove equipment; Install or remove equipment components; Configure equipment; Assemble or disassemble equipment; Move equipment; Perform basic preventive or corrective maintenance on equipment; Engage technical assistance for warranty-covered equipment repairs; Identify required parts for repairing non-warranty computers; Replace defective computer components or peripherals; Maintain hardware and software inventory; Replace defective parts; Register equipment assets; Identify and resolve hardware issues; Install backup equipment when immediate resolution is not possible; Operating system support; Install or reinstall operating systems; Install operating system patches and updates; Install device drivers; Install digital certificates; Deploy standardized operating system, application, and configuration images; Configure operating systems; Configure computer networks; Configure computer printing; Configure user profiles; Configure folder sharing; Map shared folders or printers on the network; Format file systems; Optimize operating system performance; Resolve language-related issues; Troubleshoot operating system-related issues; Troubleshoot driver-related issues; Troubleshoot video-related issues; Troubleshoot disk-related issues; Troubleshoot input/output device issues; Troubleshoot advanced power management configuration issues. **Application and software support:** Install or reinstall applications and software; Install application and software patches and updates; Uninstall applications and software; Configure applications and software; **NOTE:** These are some of the activities involved; please consult the responsible recruiter for additional details. ° Specific knowledge, certifications, and credentials required: Hardware maintenance and software configuration. **° Essential personal attributes for this role:** Maturity level, vision, leadership, interest, information confidentiality, concentration, agility, strong communication skills, and professional demeanor. **° What we offer:** Salary: R$ 3.115,00.
