Job Summary: Drive vehicles and operate equipment for solid waste collection, ensuring compliance with assigned routes and regulations, while safeguarding safety and maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. Operating vehicles and equipment for collecting various types of waste 2. Responsibility for vehicle inspection and preventive maintenance 3. Providing guidance and communication to ensure team safety and productivity * Drive vehicles and operate equipment to perform common solid waste collection, recyclable waste collection, special waste collection, healthcare service waste collection, and general service waste collection, in accordance with the established route; * Request assistance from collectors when performing reverse maneuvers, ensuring the collector is off the step and within the driver's field of vision; * Conduct vehicle inspection before starting work, complete the checklist, and report any irregularities identified to the immediate supervisor; * Complete the daily log sheet, recording data for production control; * Report to the immediate supervisor information regarding the behavior, productivity, and performance of the collection team, or any incidents, so that necessary actions may be taken; * Ensure proper operation of the vehicle and equipment by implementing preventive measures as specified in manuals and regulations; * Notify the supervisor of any irregularities in services or collection points; * Maintain the vehicle's condition by cleaning the cab and informing the supervisor of the need for corrective or preventive maintenance, as well as tire replacement or rotation; * Take the vehicle to authorized dealerships or workshops for maintenance; * Guide the team to comply with safety regulations applicable to their work area; * Report workplace or traffic accidents to the supervisor and follow the instructions received.
