Job Summary: The Production Assistant at Madeireira Mato Grosso will provide operational support to the production department, handling, sorting, organizing, and finishing wood pieces, thereby contributing to quality and productivity. No prior experience required We are seeking a Production Assistant for Madeireira Mato Grosso, who will be responsible for supporting the operational activities of the sawmill’s production department, including handling, sorting, organizing, and finishing wood pieces, thus ensuring smooth production line operations and achievement of quality and productivity targets. **Main Responsibilities:** * Assist in loading and unloading logs and wooden boards. * Sort, stack, and organize sawn or processed timber. * Operate basic cutting, sanding, and finishing machinery and tools (under supervision). * Clean and maintain the workplace and equipment. * Package and prepare finished products for shipment. * Assist in visual quality control of parts (checking for defects, dimensions, etc.). * Support machine operators in auxiliary tasks. * Comply with occupational safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). **Requirements:Education:** * Completed elementary education (high school completion preferred). **Experience:** * Prior experience is not required, but previous work in sawmills, carpentry shops, or wood-processing industries is advantageous. **Desirable Knowledge:** * Basic understanding of measurements (use of tape measures, rulers, etc.). * Familiarity with types of wood and processing methods (an advantage). **Skills and Competencies:** * Proactivity and physical stamina. * Attention to detail. * Teamwork. * Responsibility and punctuality. * Commitment to safety standards. **Working Conditions:** * Work in an industrial environment, with exposure to dust, noise, and manual handling of loads. * Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * May require sustained physical effort. **Work Schedule:** * \[Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:48 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break.] **Salary and Benefits:** * Market-competitive salary. * Benefits: \[transportation allowance, on-site meals, life insurance, career development plan, attendance bonus.] Minimum Education Level: High School (Secondary Education) Preferred Qualifications:* High School (Secondary Education) * Elementary School (Primary Education)
