**ABOUT OUR OPENING \- SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY TECHNICIAN**
**Role Mission:** Ensure operational excellence through strategic risk management, fostering an interdependent safety culture where employee life preservation and health are non-negotiable values, while ensuring legal compliance and business sustainability.
* **Responsibilities:** Develop and manage the PGR (Risk Management Program) and complex risk inventories; Provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level team members, and coordinate CIPA and SESMT; Lead root cause analyses (using methodologies such as Ishikawa Diagram or Cause Tree) for serious accidents or critical processes; Conduct internal compliance audits and prepare the facility for certifications (e.g., ISO 45001\); Develop and deliver high-impact behavioral training programs and awareness campaigns; Monitor and enforce strict adherence to the company’s safety standards by contractors; Monitor and report performance indicators (frequency and severity rates) to management.
**Requirements:**
* Occupational Health and Safety Technician registered with the MTE
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
* Specialization in occupational health and safety is desirable
* Minimum 8–10 years of experience in the field, preferably in industrial, logistics, or highly complex environments
* In-depth knowledge of Brazilian Regulatory Norms (NRs), especially NR\-01, NR\-10, NR11, NR\-12, NR\-33, and NR\-35\)
* Strong analytical ability, excellent communication skills (bridging operations and management), and resilience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel for reporting) and occupational health and safety management systems
