Job Summary:
Roller Operator with experience in earthworks, paving, and infrastructure, responsible for soil compaction and equipment maintenance.
Key Highlights:
1. Operating rollers on earthwork and paving projects.
2. Performing daily maintenance and pre-operational inspections of equipment.
3. Collaborating with the team to optimize site workflow.
#### **Responsibilities**
* Operate various types of rollers (smooth-drum, sheepfoot, vibratory) on earthwork, paving, and infrastructure projects.
* Perform soil, base, and sub-base compaction according to project technical specifications and safety standards.
* Conduct daily maintenance and pre-operational inspections of equipment, checking fluid levels, tires, braking systems, and hydraulic components.
* Report any anomalies or corrective maintenance needs to the responsible team.
* Ensure compliance with safety procedures by using appropriate PPE and marking the operational area.
* Collaborate with field teams to optimize workflow and project schedules.
* Complete logbooks and production reports, recording operating hours and tasks performed.
#### **Requirements**
* Proven experience (minimum 2 years) operating rollers on large-scale construction projects.
* Valid driver's license category D or E, with active EAR (Paid Activity Endorsement).
* Heavy Machinery Operator training course focused on rollers, recognized in the industry.
* Knowledge of safety regulations for heavy machinery operation (NR-11 and NR-12).
* Ability to interpret compaction project drawings and technical specifications.
* Availability to work rotating shifts and at various job sites.
* Completed elementary education.
