Working at heights, including roof tile replacement. A carbon products manufacturing plant seeks a Metalworker in Cosmópolis. The Unimetal Group operates in the transformation and commercialization of metal products. The company is recognized for quality and innovation in its solutions for various industrial sectors. **Responsibilities:** Perform general metalworking activities for the production area, complying with organizational safety standards. Ensure proper sizing and installation of industrial activities. Knowledge of basic maintenance. Perform welding operations: MIG, TIG, and shielded metal arc welding. Perform assembly and adjustments of parts and equipment. Occasionally perform grinding and sanding. Occasionally operate rolling machines, bending machines, and drilling machines. Use and ensure auxiliary personnel wear appropriate PPE according to task requirements. Verify cut dimensions. Assess final part conditions. Replace parts. Fabricate jigs and fixtures. Level parts. Assemble piping systems. Plan repairs. Square parts. Cut parts. Secure parts (by rivet, bolt, weld spot, etc.). Inspect part markings. Form parts. Repair parts. Seal parts. Mark parts according to project measurements. Working at heights, including roof tile replacement. Previous experience as a Metallurgist, Structural Steel Assembler, Metalworking Technician, or Welder may indicate suitability for some responsibilities of this position. High school diploma required.
