If you identify with our purpose, let’s imagine and engineer the future together? **Responsibilities and Duties** **Position Objective** Ensure technical and functional compliance of automation and instrumentation systems through project verification and field execution monitoring, guaranteeing integration, safety, and operational performance. **Main Functions and Responsibilities** * Perform technical review of engineering documents (P\&IDs, instrument lists, control loops, control logic, electrical diagrams, and automation architectures). * Validate specifications for instruments, control systems (PLC/SCADA/DCS), industrial networks, and integration with other disciplines. * Identify project inconsistencies, operational risks, and integration failures, proposing technically sound solutions aligned with operations and maintenance requirements. * Evaluate constructability and execution planning (sequencing, interfaces, system readiness). * Monitor field assembly and installation (instruments, panels, cabling, interconnections), ensuring adherence to the approved design. * Support construction activities in addressing technical deviations and non-conformities. * Actively participate in testing phases (loop check, cold/hot commissioning, SAT/FAT) and functional validation of systems. * Ensure compliance with safety standards and requirements (NR\-10, NR\-12, NR\-13, IEC, ISA), including risk analysis and interlocks. * Manage engineering changes (as-built) and ensure technical traceability. * Report status, risks, and deviations, proactively mitigating impacts on schedule, cost, and quality. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Basic Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Engineering, or related fields, with active registration at CREA. * Solid experience in industrial automation and instrumentation projects and implementation (preferably in process plants). * Proficiency in reading and analyzing P\&IDs, control loops, instrument lists, electrical diagrams, and system architectures (PLC/SCADA/DCS). * Knowledge of technical standards and requirements (NR\-10, NR\-12, NR\-13, IEC, ISA). * Proven field experience (assembly, loop check, commissioning, and startup). * Critical project analysis capability, risk management skills, and strong multidisciplinary interface ability. **You Stand Out If You Have:** * High-level critical analysis capability during project reviews, anticipating integration failures and reducing rework. * Strong field presence, ensuring alignment between control logic, instrumentation, and physical execution. * Consistent commissioning and startup experience, ensuring system performance and stability. * Expertise in identifying and mitigating operational and safety risks (interlocks, SIL, NR’s). * Integrated planning vision, prioritizing critical systems to meet schedule commitments. * Fluent English and a postgraduate degree in Project Management, adding value in client-facing interactions and contractual management. **Additional Information** **Job Characteristics:** * Employment Type: Regular Office * Work Location: Paulínia/SP * Working Hours: 44 hours per week **Benefits Included in This Position:** * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Life Insurance * Transportation Allowance * Meal Allowance * Gympass Membership Discounts and partnerships with various educational institutions * At Timenow, we believe in the power of ideas — and even more so, in the ability to turn them into reality.
