To support this mission, Syngenta's hiring team is seeking a Senior Formulation Development Chemist in Paulínia. **Responsibilities:** * Provide technical leadership for the development and validation of high complexity/impact formulation projects across all formulation types through analysis, studies, research, evaluations, and testing, ensuring compliance with current legislation and company standards for quality, safety, and environmental protection; * Develop and qualify new suppliers through chemical component analysis at all process stages, data registration, and preparation of technical reports following established procedures to ensure product quality; * Lead technical studies on new products and technologies, conducting research activities, tests, supplier visits to assess feasibility, and proposing/defending investments and implementation with leadership; * Promote alignment between global and regional guidelines through interaction with global peers, participation in forums and meetings, fostering experience and information exchange to enhance area processes; * Provide scientific and practical expertise in formulation projects, agreeing on definitions and goals with other functions, and collaboratively solving problems with colleagues from Global Formulation, H\&S, and R\&D. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related fields; * Technical knowledge in applied chemistry, polymers, surfactants, solvents, and other co-formulants; * Technical knowledge in agrochemical formulations; * Knowledge of chromatographic analyses; * Advanced or fluent English. **Desired:** * Master's and/or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related fields **Additional Information** **What We Offer** * A culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion, promotes professional development, and seeks a balance between professional and personal life to support team members.
