Key job responsibilities Manage the Logistics Operations Analysts team, ensuring team development and performance within an operation specialized in large and heavy products (AMXL) Serve as the focal point for relationship management and metric tracking of logistics partners specialized in AMXL, responsible for delivery stations Monitor and ensure execution of specialized training for handling large and heavy products, as well as continuous improvement initiatives for AMXL logistics partners Create, monitor, and analyze AMXL-specific operational and financial metrics with logistics partners, including capacity indicators, utilization of specialized fleet, and delivery performance Analyze data from multiple sources, identify relevant trends, and use them to make rapid, impactful business decisions Develop practical and simple solutions to complex problems related to large and heavy product logistics, considering unique handling, transportation, and delivery requirements Serve as the liaison between internal and external stakeholders related to AMXL operations Deeply investigate root causes of AMXL-specific operational issues, proposing and implementing scalable solutions Support onboarding of new AMXL-specialized logistics partners, ensuring correct implementation of processes and quality standards A day in the life As the AMXL Logistics Operations Leader, you will be the central point of contact between Amazon and our logistics partners. Your day will begin by reviewing operational metrics \- delivered volumes, on-time delivery (OTD) performance, handling incidents, and AMXL fleet capacity utilization. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and manage your team of Logistics Operations Analysts. With external logistics partners, you will conduct operational meetings reviewing KPIs such as FTDS, DEA, and operational costs, identifying gaps and implementing process improvements.
