Responsible for operating conventional mechanical lathes to manufacture and finish industrial parts, predominantly in stainless steel, according to technical drawings and work orders received. Must maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, and be able to interact with employees of different ages and lengths of service, preserving a collaborative and respectful environment. * Operate conventional lathes in accordance with established safety and quality standards; * Receive and interpret work orders and technical drawings provided by the area supervisor; * Prepare the lathe and select appropriate machining tools for each operation; * Carry out the machining process according to specifications, ensuring dimensions and surface finish comply with required tolerances; * Assess the quality of produced parts using measuring and control instruments; * Perform minor adjustments to equipment and tools when necessary; * Maintain organization and cleanliness of the workstation; * Report any irregularities in the process or equipment to the immediate supervisor.
