Follow occupational safety regulations and work as part of a team **Job Description:** A civil construction company seeks a professional to work as a Backhoe Operator, responsible for operating heavy machinery on construction sites, earthmoving, excavation, and material handling, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of tasks. **Main Responsibilities:** * Operate backhoes to perform excavations, trench digging, loading, and movement of soil and materials. * Carry out earthmoving and land grading operations. * Assist in site preparation activities for construction projects and foundations. * Inspect machine operating conditions prior to commencing work. * Maintain, clean, and perform basic maintenance on equipment. * Comply with occupational safety regulations and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Collaborate with the construction team and follow the supervisor’s instructions. **Requirements:** * Proven experience as a backhoe operator. * Completed elementary education. * Training course for heavy machinery or backhoe operators. * Knowledge of construction site safety regulations. * Driver’s license category C, D, or E (preferred). **Competencies:** * Attention to detail and responsibility when operating machinery. * Teamwork. * Organization and discipline. * Commitment to safety. * Proactivity and care for equipment.
