Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Java/Python developer to develop and maintain systems, ensure code quality, mentor colleagues, and contribute to the evolution of the team's practices. Dynamic environment with opportunities for professional growth **What We Are Looking For?** **Main Responsibilities:** Responsibilities * Develop and maintain medium-to-large-scale Java systems. * Participate in technical discussions with the team. * Ensure code quality through testing and best practices. * Support junior developers. * Contribute to the evolution of the team's best practices. **Requirements:** **Technical Knowledge** * **2–5 years of experience with Java**, typically with recent language versions (Java 8\+). * **2–3 years of experience with Python**, typically with recent language versions (Python 3\+). * Strong understanding of **OOP (Object-Oriented Programming)** and principles such as SOLID. * Familiarity with **frameworks**: * Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security). * Hibernate / JPA for data persistence. * Knowledge of **relational databases** (MySQL) and SQL usage. * Knowledge of **document databases** (MongoDB). * Experience with **code versioning (Git)**. * Understanding of **RESTful APIs** and ability to develop and consume web services. * Awareness of system architecture (Microservices and Event-Driven), application layers, and design patterns. **Tools & Environments** * IDEs such as IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, or VSCode. * Experience with **build tools**: Maven. * Basic knowledge of **Docker**, CI/CD (Jenkins), and Linux environments is a plus. * Knowledge of messaging (Kafka) and microservice architecture. **Soft Skills** * **Autonomy**: Capable of delivering complete features with minimal supervision. * **Communication**: Able to clearly explain technical solutions to the team. * **Teamwork**: Actively participates in code reviews and pair programming. * **Problem Solving**: Ability to investigate and resolve bugs or performance bottlenecks. * **Openness to feedback** and eagerness to grow professionally. **Nice-to-Haves:** **Location of the Position:** **Why Build Your Career at Meta?** We offer autonomy, clear goals, and a dynamic, challenging environment where professionals have the opportunity to interact with diverse technologies, participate in all types of projects, bring new ideas, and work from anywhere in Brazil—and why not, the world.
