Job Summary:
We are seeking a Building Technician to provide technical supervision for renovations, building maintenance, and small-scale construction projects, ensuring compliance with design documents and applicable regulations.

About the Opportunity
We are looking for a **Building Technician** to join the Construction Department, responsible for technical supervision of renovations, building maintenance, and small-scale construction projects. The professional will ensure that all services are executed in accordance with design documents, technical standards, quality requirements, and established deadlines.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide technical supervision for construction projects, renovations, and building maintenance;
* Inspect service execution in accordance with design documents and specifications;
* Perform measurements of services completed by contractors;
* Interpret architectural, structural, hydraulic, and electrical drawings;
* Prepare technical reports, daily site logs, and photographic records;
* Specify materials for procurement and verify the quality of received materials;
* Identify non-conformities and propose technical solutions;
* Support technical inspections and preparation of technical reports;
* Monitor compliance with safety regulations during construction activities.
Mandatory Requirements
* Completed Technical Course in Building Construction;
* Active registration with CFT/CREA;
* Minimum 3 years of experience in this role;
* Experience in supervising construction projects, renovations, and building maintenance;
* Knowledge of reading and interpreting design documents;
* Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and intermediate Excel;
* Familiarity with applicable technical standards (NBR 6118, NBR 15575, and NR-18).
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture (in progress or completed);
* Knowledge of BIM (Revit, Navisworks, or similar);
* Experience in contract inspection and preparation of technical reports;
* Experience in restoration or maintenance of historic buildings;
* Completion of NR-10, NR-35, and Construction Estimating courses.
