Perform welding and maintenance on metal structures The metalworker is the professional responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing metal structures, working with various types of metals such as iron, steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. * Interpret technical drawings and project plans * Measure, mark, and cut metal sheets, pipes, and profiles * Perform welding (electrode, MIG, TIG, and others) * Assemble and adjust metal structures * Fabricate doors, gates, grilles, handrails, window and door frames, and various structures * Install components and structures at construction sites or client locations * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on metal structures * Use manual tools, electric tools, and cutting and welding machines * Maintain workplace organization * Follow safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
