Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Engineer to coordinate and lead teams in the engine dynamometer area, optimizing operations and driving innovation with an emphasis on safety and quality. Ensuring safety, integrity, and quality in engine testing We seek a highly qualified and proactive Senior Engineer to coordinate activities in the engine dynamometer area. The professional will be responsible for leading teams, planning and executing test sequences, managing resources, and ensuring holistic operation of the area—guaranteeing safety, operational integrity, and quality of results. This position requires a combination of strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and strategic vision to optimize operations and drive innovation. * **Academic Qualification:** Bachelor's degree completed in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Automation Engineering. * **Languages:** Fluency in English (mandatory). * **Technical Knowledge:** + Solid technical knowledge of internal combustion engines and propulsion systems. + Experience and in-depth knowledge of dynamometer infrastructure (facilities and equipment aspects). + Strong knowledge of automotive technology. + Experience with Six Sigma problem-solving techniques. * **Behavioral and Leadership Skills:** + Proven ability to resolve conflicts with team members, suppliers, and test requesters. + Technical leadership and cross-functional influence capability. + Strategic and analytical thinking to solve complex and ambiguous problems. + Data-driven, assertive decision-making ability. + Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to advocate technical proposals at all organizational levels. + Ability to mentor and technically develop the team. + High autonomy, proactivity, and strong focus on results and innovation. #LI-GF1 **#LI-FordBrasil** * Coordinate and supervise teams of junior and mid-level engineers, supervisors, and technicians, promoting professional development and a collaborative work environment. * Plan, organize, and monitor activities and test sequences in engine dynamometers, ensuring adherence to deadlines and operational efficiency. * Manage budgetary and logistics aspects of supplies, ensuring availability of necessary resources for continuous test execution. * Actively participate in meetings and serve as the focal point for test requesters, understanding their needs and translating them into action plans. * Review data treatment resulting from tests, ensuring accuracy and reliability of information, and coordinate the preparation of detailed technical reports. * Ensure holistic operation of the dynamometer area by proactively anticipating and resolving issues related to supplies, budget, or planning that could impact the test schedule. * Safeguard the safety of the entire team and integrity of equipment by implementing and monitoring best practices and procedures. * Promote a positive organizational climate, fostering open communication and constructive conflict resolution.
