With infrastructure designed to support and motivate its teams, the company reinforces its commitment to this transformation journey. **Responsibilities and duties** * Perform chemical, physicochemical, and microbiological analyses (excluding those exclusively performed by biologists) for quality control of raw water, treated water, drinking water, wastewater (liquid effluent, domestic and industrial sewage), chemical products, and samples from various stages of water and sewage treatment; * Install and commission new laboratory equipment, calibrate, operate, and check analytical equipment, performing maintenance as required by the manufacturer; * Understand controls related to the acquisition and use of chemicals regulated by the Civil Police, Federal Police, and Army; * Plan, schedule, prepare, control, store, and standardize chemical solutions and reagents, as well as maintain inventory control of materials and reagents; * Assist in technical specifications, market research, and budgeting for equipment, analytical instruments, and other laboratory supplies; * Operate vehicles to carry out job-related activities; * Collect samples of raw water, treated water, drinking water, and wastewater (liquid effluent, domestic and industrial sewage) for quality control; * Develop, implement, and validate analytical methods applicable to the laboratory; * Conduct internal training for teams on operational procedures and/or new methodologies; * Be familiar with drinking water and environmental regulations; * Understand the Laboratory Quality Management System, ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025 standard, in order to assist in its implementation and maintenance; * Perform critical analysis of calibration and reagent certificates; * Prepare sampling plans and schedules for monitoring water and sewage quality according to legal requirements; * Monitor compliance with required monitoring under applicable legislation regarding water potability, both qualitatively and quantitatively; * Participate in internal/external audits as needed; * Participate in proficiency testing and inter/intralaboratory programs to ensure the quality of laboratory test results; * Carry out technical and administrative oversight of service contracts; * Share knowledge related to their area of expertise; * Perform other tasks necessary for the execution of their activities, such as planning, advising, developing, implementing, reviewing, evaluating, and validating procedures, operational technical standards, instructions, forms, manuals, regulations, and related documents within their area of responsibility; * Perform administrative tasks necessary for the development of departmental activities, maintaining organized documentation, equipment, materials, etc., under their responsibility, as well as other related activities; * Perform general laboratory tasks necessary to maintain departmental operations, such as cleaning workbenches, washing glassware, organizing, disposing of materials and waste (including segregation, disposal, and preparation of sample containers); * Perform preparation, washing, sterilization, and decontamination of materials; * Receive and verify collected water and sewage samples; * Possess computer skills (Office suite); * Hold technical registration with the professional council (Regional Council of Chemistry – CRQ); * Collaboratively participate in working groups, meetings, and corporate events; * Prepare budgeting processes for laboratory materials and supplies. **Requirements and qualifications** **Requirements and qualifications:** * Technical degree in Chemistry; * Registration with the Regional Council of Chemistry – CRQ; * Valid National Driver's License – CNH. **Required behavioral competencies:** * Communication * Creativity * Emotional intelligence * Adaptability * Flexibility * Teamwork **Additional information** **Benefits offered:** Medical insurance Dental insurance Meal voucher (VR) and food voucher (VA) Transportation allowance Christmas basket Additional holiday bonus Birthday day off Extended maternity leave Extended paternity leave Childcare allowance for mothers and fathers Wellhub (Gympass) partnership Profit Sharing Program – PPR The new Sabesp is much more than a sanitation company.
