Description
**Requirements:**
Higher education is desirable; technical education is mandatory.
Completed secondary technical education in Electrotechnology or Mechatronics (IFECT or SENAI preferred).
Desirable: completed higher education degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation.
Proven experience:
In electrical installations, instrumentation, and automation, as well as cold and hot commissioning (full load).
Preferred: experience in electrical installations within cement and mining industries.
Demonstrated specific technical knowledge:
Industrial instrumentation (pneumatic, hydraulic, temperature, pressure, and level) – advanced knowledge;
Low- and medium-voltage AC drives (WEG, Schneider, or Rockwell families) – intermediate knowledge;
Industrial automation (Rockwell family) – basic knowledge;
NR 35, NR 10 / SEP, NR 33 (minimum requirements; training may be provided prior to mobilization).
**Main responsibilities:**
Supervise and monitor task execution to ensure compliance with technical and safety standards;
Adhere to construction standards and criteria per electrical and automation project specifications;
Prepare daily work schedules for the contractor’s team;
Manage human resources under direct supervision (field inspectors for electrical and automation disciplines);
Assign tasks according to the schedule;
Monitor and control the pending items list and their resolution;
Monitor and control completion of execution documentation;
Specify materials for procurement (when required);
Conduct field surveys (qualitative and quantitative) for budgeting purposes;
Read and interpret construction projects and electrical drawings across all voltage levels;
Perform electrical testing of equipment, instruments, motors, and electrical systems.
