RIO DE JANEIRO CITY EYE CENTER is located in the central region of the city, in the Benfica neighborhood. Its services cover the entire population of Rio de Janeiro, including city residents. It is a specialized unit focused on health promotion and disease and accident prevention, as well as identifying potential alterations related—or unrelated—to occupational and academic activities; it also enables early prevention and detection of possible pathologies and potential risks to visual health and quality of life. The health unit is equipped to serve the broadest range of ophthalmological conditions affecting the population of Rio de Janeiro, including: * Diagnosis and treatment of ocular motility disorders, binocular vision disturbances, and associated anomalies; * Performance of examinations for refractive correction and contact lens fitting, as well as analysis of visual function; * Evaluation of neural conduction of the visual stimulus and visual field deficits; * Planning and application of specific therapeutic interventions for recovery and re-education of binocular vision and subvision disturbances; * Awareness-raising initiatives, screening programs, and preventive actions within health promotion and health education. * Conducting diagnostic, corrective, and periodic ophthalmological examinations—primarily aimed at preserving health, considering existing risks from underlying conditions such as systemic arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus, as well as those arising from work and educational environments. **Responsibilities and Duties** Responsible for monitoring, oversight, and accountability regarding the three SCCS contracts. **Requirements and Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree completed in Administration, Accounting Sciences, or Economics. **Additional Information** * 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday * Meal or Food Allowance * Health and Dental Insurance (optional enrollment) * Gympass * Zenklub **SPDM – São Paulo Association for Medical Development** is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association, recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility—respectively by Decrees No. 57.925 dated 03/04/1966, No. 40.103 dated 05/17/1962, and No. 8.911 dated 07/30/1970. Since its inception, **PAIS** has sought, in partnership with public management authorities, to expand and consolidate health services provided to SUS users.
