Project Specialist IV\-(AMB BRA) **Data:** May 20, 2026 **Location:** Rio de Janeiro, BR **Company:** Ternium **Mandatory Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. * Experience managing CAPEX projects in the Steelmaking area. * Availability to work under a 4x1 schedule in the Santa Cruz neighborhood, Rio de Janeiro (four days on-site and one day remote). **1\.\- Purpose of the Position** * Execute engineering for proposals and/or projects within assigned areas, adhering to established schedules and budgets, while meeting required quality, environmental, and constructability standards set by the client. * Perform calculations and engineering design within the relevant disciplines to meet company-defined objectives for each project in terms of constructability, quality, cost, and schedule. * Support timely implementation of investment projects within the IMA areas to increase production capacity, reduce costs, improve product and service quality, and enhance core aspects of Industrial Safety and Environmental Management. **2\.1 Key Processes and Tasks (Specific)** **Basic Engineering:** * Develop basic engineering received from clients, adding value to make detailed engineering more efficient. * Support defining resources required to execute engineering activities. * Consolidate information provided by engineers and, where necessary, analyze specifications or scopes, identifying technical and constructability alternatives, as well as flagging detected risks. * Prepare the Project Execution Plan (PEP) for the discipline, defining the execution strategy. * Review basic engineering documentation provided by clients to determine whether contractual requirements and scope are adequately defined, and request necessary clarifications. * Prepare the budget for each task and reach consensus with clients. * Coordinate information exchanged with and from other disciplines. **Detailed Engineering:** * Coordinate development of committed engineering for the project, meeting the discipline’s schedule requirements on time. * Review the awarded contract/budget against the offer submitted, highlighting discrepancies and verifying the strategy (design, materials, documentation) defined during the offer stage. * Review and assume responsibility for executing engineering for projects under direct responsibility and/or monitoring others (e.g., hours distributed over time, hours per category, list of deliverables, progress status, etc.). * Prepare execution schedules for plans, define delivery dates, organize and supervise project staff and external support personnel. * Perform and/or review calculation memoranda for the discipline. * Together with the discipline leader, define drawing criteria to be applied to each project and each specific deliverable, ensuring uniform application of procedures. * Approve and issue technical documentation for the discipline. * Maintain effective coordination with clients and construction sites. * Select most suitable materials and equipment based on client requirements and project characteristics. * Support the Construction Technical Office by resolving specific requirements during the construction phase. **Technology and Quality:** * Evaluate emerging technologies within the discipline that could enhance project efficiency levels. * Ensure drawings comply with company and client quality standards and procedures, and establish necessary controls to enforce quality policies and procedures. **2\.2 Key Processes and Tasks (Specific)** **Systems:** * Keep application systems/software updated according to project and client needs. **Client-Supplier Relationship:** * Manage relationships between the Engineering Department and key direct clients—namely, Operations and Maintenance departments—continuously promoting active participation and acceptance of corresponding responsibilities across all departments involved in a project. * Request, review, and approve engineering deliverables from external suppliers, ensuring quality, adherence to standards, and on-time delivery of produced items. **3\.\- Key Processes and Tasks (Core)** Hygiene and Safety Environmental Management Annual Economic Budget Human Resources SOX/Compliance Quality**4\.\- Organizational Chart, Supervision Exercised and Received** Organizational Chart, Supervision Exercised and Received**5\.\- Required Education and Professional Experience** Education and Professional Experience Required for the Role**6\.\- Required Specific Knowledge** Specific Knowledge Required for the Role
