Job Summary: The Operations Analyst monitors and ensures the efficiency of last-mile transportation operations, guaranteeing visibility, adherence to deadlines, and rapid response to deviations. About the Role We are seeking an Operations Analyst to join our Logistics Control Tower, responsible for monitoring and ensuring the efficiency of last-mile transportation operations—ensuring delivery visibility, on-time delivery, and rapid response to potential operational deviations. Main Responsibilities * Monitor real-time last-mile transportation operations via tracking systems and logistics platforms. * Operate within the control tower to ensure end-to-end operational visibility. * Identify and resolve operational issues such as delays, delivery incidents, route problems, and cargo damage. * Maintain active communication with carriers, drivers, customers, and internal departments. * Update systems with delivery, pickup, and incident statuses. * Ensure compliance with SLAs and delivery deadlines. * Support operational performance analysis and generation of logistics KPIs. * Prepare operational reports and monitoring dashboards. * Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. * Support route planning and load scheduling. * Ensure compliance with company transportation processes and policies. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Production Engineering, or related fields (completed or in progress). * Experience in transportation operations or logistics control tower environments. * Knowledge of TMS, tracking systems, or transportation management systems. * Proficiency in Excel or data analysis tools. * Familiarity with logistics KPIs (OTIF, SLA, lead time, service level).
