If you identify with our Positively-oriented culture, **submit your resume and apply for this position!** THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO PEOPLE WITH OR WITHOUT DISABILITIES **Responsibilities and Duties** * Coordinate the editorial area by assisting in scheduling planning together with the PCP department, establishing deadlines for work delivery, distributing and prioritizing team tasks, and managing outsourced services; * Manage employee time cards as well as vacation scheduling, time-off requests, medical certificates, and declarations for the Editorial Areas team; * Monitor the development of educational solutions, supervising workflow stages to ensure smooth progress, anticipate potential issues, and (or) resolve them; * Coordinate project development to implement the defined editorial plan. * Lead the selection process for new Editorial Areas team members — either permanent or freelance — through interviews and skills assessments; * Coordinate editorial production workflows: new productions, revisions, and errata; * Monitor project progress and deadlines, communication, risks, and related budgets; * Periodically report the status of the project portfolio to Management and (or) Executive Leadership, ensuring analysis and visibility into operational results (project execution), financial outcomes, delivery capacity (current and evolving), and related matters; * Supervise all Editorial Areas team members’ work and their interactions with professionals from other departments — especially Text Editing, Proofreading, Art, Iconography, PCP, and Printing — to guarantee a cohesive editorial process; * Support the editorial team with technical information that contributes to achieving optimal product outcomes, sharing updates on new product launches and editorial trends applicable to printed and digital books; * Identify difficulties and limitations within the Editorial Areas team’s work to define actions supporting staff development and improvement. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Degree in an Education-related field — Pedagogy and/or Teaching Licenses; * Experience in the editorial field, preferably with management responsibilities; * Classroom teaching experience. **Additional Information** Why work here?
