Job Summary: A Metalworker is responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of metal structures and metal products, interpreting technical drawings and ensuring quality control. Work experience in commercial and industrial metalworking shops, both in workshops and on-site **About the Position:** A Metalworker performs tasks related to the fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of metal structures and metal products. Key responsibilities include: * Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to fabricate components. * Performing cutting and welding operations on various metals using appropriate equipment. * Assembling and adjusting metal structures according to project requirements. * Conducting quality control of fabricated components to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. * Performing finishing and painting of metal components. * Organizing and maintaining a clean and safe work area. * Assisting in the management of materials and supplies required for work. * Adhering to occupational safety and health regulations. Requirements Multifunctional profile in metalworking Vocational training in Metalworking, Boiler Making, Welding, or related fields. Prior experience in commercial and industrial metalworking. Proficiency in MIG/MAG and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) Knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Proficiency with cutting, bending, and welding tools and machinery. Proficiency in assembly and installation of metal structures. Ability to work collaboratively in teams and strong communication skills. Availability to work rotating shifts or overtime. Certification from welding courses is a plus. Ability to perform safe work at heights using scaffolds and ladders. Experience working both in metalworking workshops and on-site.
