Job Description
Ensure operational readiness of pre-owned assets through strategic supplier chain management. The incumbent must secure maintenance and logistics services with emphasis on Sourcing (identifying optimal suppliers), Saving (cost reduction), and geographic coverage, ensuring that the demobilization and sales process is supported by qualified partners and competitive pricing.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Identify and develop new maintenance and parts suppliers for pre-owned assets (trucks and heavy machinery), ensuring coverage in strategic regions;
* Negotiate contracts and freight rates with transporters for movement of demobilized assets, optimizing routes and costs;
* Participate in negotiation rounds to reduce reconditioning and transportation service costs without compromising technical quality;
* Monitor service quality using performance indicators, conducting technical visits or audits when necessary;
* Ensure external suppliers are trained on Addiante’s quality standards, safety requirements, and internal processes;
* Continuously analyze the partner network to ensure proximity of workshops and transporters to demobilization bases and sales points;
* Initiate, track, and close requests in the IFS system, ensuring proper document flow;
* Ensure all procurement activities are formally documented and compliant with company Compliance and governance policies;
* Monitor supplier response time and Mean Time (MT) to service, addressing bottlenecks delaying asset availability for sale.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or related fields.
* Proven experience in technical services procurement, preferably in transportation, leasing, or heavy machinery sectors.
Desirable Requirements
* Proficiency in ERP systems (purchasing/services modules);
* Negotiation techniques and cost analysis skills;
* Basic knowledge of heavy equipment mechanics/maintenance for price negotiation.
