Job Summary: A professional responsible for cleaning and organizing environments, including dusting, floor and restroom cleaning, and garbage collection. Key Highlights: 1. Assistance in removal and arrangement of furniture and utensils GENERAL SERVICES ASSISTANT ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED **Activities** Dusts furniture, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, and equipment by wiping or cleaning them with vacuum cleaners, cloths, or brooms to maintain their good appearance; cleans stairs, floors, walkways, and carpets by sweeping, washing, waxing, or vacuuming to remove dust and debris; cleans utensils such as ashtrays and decorative items using cloths or sponges soaked in water and soap or other suitable agents to maintain the good appearance of areas; arranges bathrooms and toilets by cleaning them with water and soap, detergents, and disinfectants and restocking toilet paper, towels, and soaps to keep them in usable condition; collects garbage from storage areas, gathering it into bins for disposal in trash receptacles or incinerators. May assist in the removal or arrangement of furniture or utensils. May deliver letters and packages to building occupants.
