At that time, it was a small editorial unit responsible for producing textbooks and study guides used by students and teachers of the Opet Educational Group’s high school and technical courses in the capital city of Paraná. The quality of these teaching materials attracted attention from other private schools and public education networks, which sought similar resources for their own classrooms. In response to this interest, Editora Opet began offering its services to other educational institutions, leading to improvements in materials and the pursuit of advanced pedagogical resources. The team of authors, editors, proofreaders, and graphic designers expanded, as did awareness of Brazilian education needs and the desire to contribute to a better country through schools. It was no longer merely about producing books, but rather about conceiving and delivering something more—a truly transformative educational system equipped with pedagogical resources and technological tools capable of inspiring and fostering genuine learning. From this initiative emerged the Opet Educational System \- today known as Opet Educational Solutions \-, adopting “Citizen Education” as its guiding paradigm: an education grounded in values such as ethics, relevant knowledge, citizenship, sustainability, autonomy, and solidarity. In 2015, already established among Brazil’s leading educational publishers, Editora Opet acquired Sefe \- Family and School Educational System, an educational system also founded in Curitiba and highly successful in public education. Sefe’s paradigm—centered on the value of family-school partnership for educational success—brought greater sensitivity and quality to Editora Opet’s perspective and work. Today, Editora Opet operates under two educational imprints: Opet Educational Solutions, directed at private schools, and Sefe, targeted at public schools. Together, these imprints serve 340,000 students and tens of thousands of teachers across 17 states and the Federal District, providing textbooks, pedagogical training, book collections, and technological tools for human-centered, relevant, and citizen-oriented education. This work also proposes valuable partnerships with school administrators, principals, sponsors, education secretaries, and families—who are invited to participate actively in the educational process. **Main Responsibilities:** * Evaluate internal and operational processes. * Conduct root cause analysis to identify problems or inefficiencies. * Develop improvement suggestions based on analyzed data. * Update process documentation as improvements are implemented. * Create or revise manuals, flowcharts, or standard operating procedures (SOPs). * Monitor the progress of continuous improvement projects. * Ensure projects align with the company’s strategic objectives. * Manage quality, resources, and expectations. * Monitor process management tools and systems. * Use data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.) to generate insights on process performance and quality. * Validate and interpret data to support strategic decision-making. * Process and organize payments to third-party suppliers. * Collaborate with departments such as content editing, logistics, commercial, and pedagogy. * Work jointly with leaders from other departments to align improvement initiatives with corporate objectives. **Technical Competencies:** * Project organization and optimization * Workflow design * Knowledge of agile methodologies (Kanban and Scrum) * Experience with editorial and/or technology products * Knowledge of quality processes **Desirable Qualifications:** * Academic Background: o Completed undergraduate degree in fields such as Business Administration, Production Engineering, Information Technology, or related areas. * Professional Experience: o Minimum of 1 year of experience in workflow analysis and quality. o Experience with editorial or technology products, such as platforms and applications. **Behavioral Competencies:** * Communication and negotiation skills * Innovation and adaptability * Emotional intelligence * Resilience * Ethics and integrity * Proactivity * Critical thinking * Ability to understand product-business relationships * Versatility * Strong organizational skills * Experience working with agile methodologies.
