We currently have an opening for a **Laboratory Technician**, a professional responsible for neonatal screening activities, including sample collection, preparation, and analysis, with emphasis on result accuracy and process safety.
**Main responsibilities:**
* Perform collections for the **Heel Prick Test** and the **Sweat Test (conductivity)**;
* Receive, verify, and organize samples sent by Health Units;
* Prepare samples, punch cards, and conduct laboratory analyses according to technical and biosafety protocols;
* Operate and monitor laboratory equipment (IEF, GSP, and others);
* Assist in organizing and archiving documents and samples;
* Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas;
* Complete laboratory reports, logs, and records;
* Collaborate in inventory control of supplies and reagents;
* Support training of new staff and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
**Requirements:**
* Completed high school education.
* Attention to detail, responsibility, and agility.
Employment type: Permanent CLT contract
Salary: R$2.400,00 \- R$2.500,00 per month
