Respond to urgent and emergency situations at substations **ENGIE Brasil Energia is looking for a new** **talent to join our team!** **Transmission Maintenance Operator I – Substation** We are looking for a **Transmission Maintenance Operator I**, who, under remote operations team instructions, will perform operational maneuvers, isolation of transmission systems and equipment, maintenance tasks and/or support maintenance teams, assist in telecontrol-based operation monitoring, observe potential operational anomalies on screen, and submit appropriate reports. **If you are organized, committed, and seek a dynamic environment to grow professionally, this is the place for you!** **Responsibilities:** * Record abnormalities identified in equipment and recommend corrective and preventive actions; register intervention controls and respective outcomes in the Company’s operational system, ensuring data accuracy to generate databases for reporting, KPIs, and decision-making support; * Perform maintenance services on protection, transmission, and telecommunications equipment and systems, as well as calibration, electronic maintenance, and special testing on critical-level equipment, in accordance with the Maintenance Plan and unplanned interventions, recording information in the system; * Carry out operational activities in outdoor areas and in the control room, maintaining constant contact with the telecontrol area; operate electrical and electromechanical installations in transmission assets’ substations when required; * Operate equipment such as PTA, Munck, and forklifts, following specific training for each equipment type; * Respond to urgent and emergency situations involving substation (SE) equipment and systems until full restoration is achieved, as well as perform maneuvers at SE during preventive and/or corrective maintenance execution; * Implement necessary and requested operational-level actions to comply with the Company’s Industrial Control Systems Security Policy; * Adhere to clearly defined internal procedures, documenting difficulties and non-compliances, and potentially participate in developing new procedures or reviewing existing ones together with leadership and/or the Operations technical team; * Conduct tests and trials on substation equipment. **Mandatory Requirements:** * Technical education in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electronics, or related fields, with an active CFT (Technical Qualification Certificate). * Substation equipment and systems – Basic. * Health, safety norms and procedures, and applicable regulations – Basic. * Integrated management system – Basic. * Maintenance management and technical documentation tools and software – Basic. * Reading and interpreting equipment technical manuals, technical drawings, and flowcharts – Basic. * Transmission-related processes and associated equipment and systems – Intermediate. * Maintenance and operation procedures, plans, methods, and techniques – Intermediate. * Computer literacy: word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, internet, email – Basic. * Various administrative processes and routines within the area of operation – Basic. **Desirable Attributes:** * English – Basic. **Interested in this challenge?
