Job Summary: Hospital Angelina Caron is seeking a Quality Nurse to analyze incident reports, coordinate the NSP, participate in commissions, monitor indicators, and develop protocols to enhance patient safety. Active participation in mandatory patient safety commissions Hospital Angelina Caron currently has an opening for a Quality Nurse Schedule: Flexible work schedule from Monday to Friday Main Responsibilities: * Daily analysis of incident reports received via the Tasy system; classification according to event severity; forwarding to managers for action plan development; and management of implemented actions through recurrence tracking of incident reports to ensure hospital-wide event monitoring. * Jointly with the NSP (Patient Safety Nucleus), conduct analysis of the most prevalent/severe incidents using the London Protocol and propose action plans for patient-related incidents aimed at mitigating risks and ensuring process improvement. * Coordinate the NSP (Patient Safety Nucleus) through monthly multidisciplinary team meetings, deploy actions, and monitor implementation of this commission’s action plans. * Actively participate in mandatory commission meetings, serving as liaison among all commissions to maintain focused attention on patients and clinical safety protocols. * Monitor patient safety protocol indicators via the system, critically analyze data, and organize multidisciplinary team meetings to implement improvement actions. * Collect data and monitor indicators for submission to hospital-participating projects, using each contract’s checklist as the basis. (POA / Hospisus) * Represent the Hospital externally at forums and events related to projects/contracts, clarifying reported documentation. * Support clinical projects to ensure patient quality and safety, attending meetings upon request to align initiatives. * Deliver training related to onboarding of new staff and to quality and patient safety culture, aligning with processes impacting clinical care, coordinated with DHO and NEP. * Submit notifications to health surveillance authorities via NOTIVISA—containing all information regarding adverse events occurring at the hospital; * Conduct internal audits to verify effectiveness of proposed actions and adherence to established processes. * Develop flowcharts and guide departments in their development. * Develop protocols and procedures, and assist departments in their development, advising managers and proposing measures for continuous process improvement.
