Job Summary: This Kitchen Assistant position involves preparing meals and snacks, assembling meal boxes (marmitas), and cleaning and organizing the kitchen and utensils. Key Highlights: 1. Monitor supplies, expiration dates, and temperatures **KITCHEN ASSISTANT** ***JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*** \- Assist in preparing coffee and meals for residents of care homes; \- Assist in preparing meals following prescribed diets or established recipes to ensure appropriate nutrition for beneficiaries; \- Clean dishes, utensils, and the kitchen in general; \- Assist in pre-preparing lunch for the following day; \- Prepare and assemble meal boxes (marmitas) for beneficiaries to be served at lunch and dinner; \- Prepare afternoon snacks for beneficiaries; \- Assist in serving snacks and meals; \- Wash and sanitize work surfaces, dishes, and the kitchen; \- Keep the cold room and cabinets organized and clean; \- Maintain order, hygiene, and safety in the workplace, adhering to regulations and instructions to prevent accidents; \- Care for kitchen materials and equipment, keeping them clean and orderly to ensure optimal conditions for use, hygiene, and safety; \- Monitor supplies to avoid waste; \- Collect food samples; \- Monitor temperatures; \- Track expiration dates and validity periods of supplies used in the department; \- Maintain relevant records and controls for the department; \- Ensure proper storage, preservation, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment, instruments, materials, and the workplace; \- Perform other related tasks as needed or at the discretion of the supervisor. ***JOB REQUIREMENTS*** \- Completed elementary education; \- Prior experience as a kitchen assistant is desirable. ***WORK HOURS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS*** \- Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM; \- Monthly salary of R$2.166,00 – CLT employment contract; \- Transportation allowance or free parking (if using personal vehicle); \- Meal allowance: R$555.00; \- On-site meals; \- Study incentive program; \- Birthday day off; \- Pharmacy allowance; \- Gympass membership. **Work Schedule:** * Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM; Employment Type: Full-time, CLT permanent contract Compensation: R$2.166,00 per month Benefits: * Meal allowance * Transportation allowance Work Location: On-site
