**Your responsibilities:**
* Calculate direct and indirect taxes (ICMS, ISS, PIS, COFINS, IRPJ, CSLL) according to the applicable tax regime
* of group companies
* Prepare, review, and file federal, state, and municipal ancillary tax obligations, ensuring compliance with legal deadlines.
* Monitor, interpret, and apply current tax legislation, assessing fiscal impacts on company operations.
* Perform tax reconciliations, verifying calculation bases, accounting entries, and tax balances.
* Support tax audits, internal and external audits, providing technical clarifications and supplying documents and information.
* Analyze, control, and monitor tax credits, offsets, and utilization in accordance with applicable legislation.
* Collaborate closely with Accounting and Finance departments to align information and finalize tax reporting.
* Identify tax risks and support management in defining preventive and corrective actions.
* Contribute to standardizing procedures, controls, and routines within the tax department.
* Prepare and analyze tax reports and indicators to support management decisions.
* Provide technical support to junior tax analysts, guiding them on routines, legislation, and best practices.
* Propose improvements to tax processes, aiming for efficiency, risk reduction, and tax compliance.
**What we expect from you:**
* Currently pursuing or completed undergraduate degree in Accounting Sciences, Administration, or Law
* Solid experience in the tax field.
* Basic knowledge of Excel and ERP systems.
* Ability to interpret electronic invoices and tax codes (CFOP, CST)
* Basic knowledge of accounting\-tax reconciliation.
