Are you skilled in PHP and/or JavaScript/TS and ready to grow your career? We are looking for a ***Junior or Medior Engineer*** to join our experienced and skilled Engineering Team of 50\+ members. **You will be joining the Affiliate \& Media Partnerships Engineering Team in Serbia**, to work together with other developers, Devops, QAs, Delivery who are located mostly in Serbia, but also in UK, Malta, Portugal and Denmark. You will be onboarded to the tech stack and software development and mentored by experienced senior colleagues. **We develop web applications and backend services** to support Affiliate \& Media Partnerships business operations, **using mostly PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, AWS, CloudFlare**. **We work in Scrum**, with all roles included, having regular refinements, plannings, sprint reviews, retrospectives and dailies. ### **Job responsibilities** * Deliver solutions that are well\-engineered, maintainable and testable * Identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities; compare data from different sources to draw conclusions ### **Job qualifications** * **1\+ years experience** in one of the following: + PHP + JavaScript (ECMA 6 and newer) + HTML/CSS/SCSS + NodeJS + TypeScript + SQL * Fair analytical skills, ability to learn quickly, communicate and work collaboratively in a team environment ### **Good to have** * Passionate about producing clean, maintainable, and scalable code * Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills * Experience with WordPress * Experience with MySQL, Redis * Basic understanding of Git workflows * Good communication skills ### **Benefits** * Private health insurance * Sick leave 100% paid * Canteen with free meals and drinks * Flexible working hours * Additional vacation days after two years in the company We also provide up\-to date equipment, entertainment facilities in a modern office right in the city center and more. ***Note****: Flexible working hours and occasional work from home options in Better Collective help us achieve proper work\-life balance.
