Job Summary: We are seeking an Embedded C/C++ Software Engineer to develop and maintain robust applications for POS terminals, implement EMV solutions, and work with embedded Linux. With corporate headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, Experian is listed on the London Stock Exchange (EXPN) and is a constituent of the FTSE 100. **Job Description** * Develop and maintain robust C applications for POS terminals. * Implement EMV-compliant card capture solutions. * Work with embedded Linux-based platforms, including PAX, Ingenico, Gertec, and Verifone devices. * Perform log analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. * Provide technical support to the development team and participate in architectural decisions. **Qualifications:** * Proven experience with C/C++ in embedded environments. * Strong knowledge of the EMV standard and secure communication protocols. * Hands-on experience with embedded Linux and hardware integration. * In-depth expertise in at least one of the mentioned POS platforms. * Experience in memory management for embedded systems. * Advanced proficiency in C development. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with Java/Kotlin for Android. * Knowledge of TEF, PCI-DSS, cryptography, and information security. * Ability to technically lead projects and teams. **Qualifications** * C * embedded * EMV * POS **Additional Information** Serasa Experian is much more than you imagine.
