




**Description** **The opportunity:** This role is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, modifying, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical designs of distribution transformers, equipment, systems, or installations, including specifications for manufacturing (moderate-sized projects or portions of large projects, specialized solutions), aiming to meet internal technical requests and product changes, implementing them efficiently, economically, and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The professional works autonomously, understands the specific responsibilities, and develops more complex mechanical transformer designs. This is a position based 100% in Blumenau. **How you will make an impact:** 1\. Execute, guide, and develop basic designs or parts of designs for the manufacturing of company products (transformers), subcomponents, and/or equipment, through drawings and sketches, calculations of dimensions, capacity, mass, volume, etc., using CAD workstations/apps (2D and 3D), providing necessary adjustments and optimizations. 2\. Act as a technical drawing expert or consultant by examining, reading, and interpreting standards and technical specifications, as well as complete project documents for compliance and quality assurance, while also generating detailed material lists (including bolts, washers, and other transformer components), following required specifications, departmental procedures, and company standards. 3\. Provide technical support to those responsible for controlling ongoing contracts regarding claims, new scope changes (projects), cost impacts, time impacts, risk quantifications, etc., guided by area management and/or more experienced engineers, clarifying doubts and offering high-quality, cost-effective design alternatives and solutions according to customer requirements, budget forecasts, and contractual terms, while ensuring adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks. 4\. Study project operational requirements based on layouts, sketches, and technical needs to optimize costs, perform and guide junior designers in technical calculations to support their work, and provide technical support to departments, follow up on assemblies, clarify mechanical technical drawings, and address other support demands. 5\. Develop execution plans by defining mechanical methods and processes, aligning with the sequence of project activities, changes, and revisions (mechanical, calculations), contributing to meeting customer demands, characteristics, and agreed deadlines, while guiding and providing necessary information to ensure required mechanical quality and productivity standards. 6\. Occasionally contact suppliers and service providers to evaluate quotes and delivery timelines, guide and conduct technical visits and inspections, certify or recommend purchases or third-party contracts, as well as interact with customers to provide technical assistance, perform repairs, adjustments, and adaptations. 7\. Guide and provide technical assistance to customers and production teams, clarifying technical questions or advising on service development, thoroughly preparing designs, CAD models (2D and 3D) for production, incorporating lessons learned across various models, materials, and suppliers, analyzing and mitigating risks, monitoring assembly and functional tests, as well as updating material lists until final drawings are completed, thus achieving high-quality drawings and models. 8\. Support other business areas (Procurement, Planning, Operations) by organizing technical lists and registering items in the company's enterprise management system, SAP. 9\. Propose technical improvements, methods, and sequences for existing test configurations based on experience and knowledge of new trends and equipment. 10\. Comply with the Safety Master Plan, using the necessary PPE for performing activities at the factory. 11\.
