Description

• Perform nursing assistance actions under supervision, observing and recording signs and symptoms presented by the patient, performing dressings, administering medications, and other interventions; • Perform controls related to each patient’s pathology; • Collect specimens for laboratory tests; • Assist in inventory control of materials, equipment, and medications; • Collaborate with the healthcare team in carrying out assistance, teaching, research, and health education tasks; • Assist in urgent and emergency care; • Perform procedures related to admission, discharge, and transfer; • Maintain the work unit organized and well-preserved, reporting any issues to the Nurse; • Assist in routine nursing services; • Contribute to the development of therapeutic programs, providing patient education on self-care and conducting health education for groups at Estância Gradiva. • Accompany patients during external routines involving therapeutic activities under the supervision of a psychologist or responsible staff member. • Inspect and monitor equipment and facility conditions, reporting issues to the responsible person; • Assist the Nurse in the systematic prevention and control of physical injuries that may occur to patients during healthcare delivery; • Prepare patients for examinations, instructing\-them on required preparation conditions; • Perform tasks relevant to the area of expertise using computer equipment and software; • Perform other tasks necessary for sector activities inherent to the role.
