Work Location: Itajaí, Santa Catarina **Responsibilities and Duties** * Assess onboard failures reported by the customer (first line of defense) * Investigate/analyze root causes of failures. * When required, inspect failures during sea operations. * Perform initial failure classification (e.g., incorrect operation). * Inspect repairs carried out by shipyards and/or third parties. * Obtain access credentials/authorizations for naval arsenals/bases for suppliers/our own team. * Manage an office at the customer’s naval arsenal/base. * Act as the primary point of contact for the customer/shipyard on all warranty-related matters. * Coordinate schedules for TKMS specialists and mobilization of the UAN at the arsenal, naval base, or vessel location. * Organize and control the return of repaired parts to TKMS. * Close warranty service requests with the customer. * Serve as the responsible party and main point of contact between the vessel, AAz, and the shipyard. * Demonstrate autonomy in resolving warranty issues, escalating when necessary. * Participate in onboard interventions/meetings whenever required. * Prepare the monthly warranty progress report. * Maintain and update the warranty service request database, and coordinate onboard service interventions with the shipyard. * Provide effective leadership and guidance to ensure timely resolution of pending and open service requests. * Ensure that service intervention details and action plans are recorded, communicated to the vessel in a timely manner, and executed as planned. * Ensure lessons learned are documented and communicated to project management teams when necessary. * Issue regular updates and reports providing clear visibility into progress, challenges, costs, and forecasts for service interventions for the following month. **Requirements and Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Active CREA registration. Certificate of Competency as Chief Engineer Officer. Relevant professional experience. Fluent English (spoken and written).
