Job Summary: As a Cost Estimator at TAG Engenharia, you will be responsible for analyzing tender documents, preparing commercial proposals, quantifying materials, and planning costs for complex projects. Key Responsibilities: 1. Analyze tender documents and prepare technical and financial commercial proposals 2. Quantify materials and plan project costs 3. Identify competitive technical alternatives and negotiate with suppliers We currently have an excellent opportunity open at TAG Engenharia! **This position requires on-site work in Blumenau/SC.** The **Cost Estimator** role at TAG Engenharia entails: * Thoroughly analyzing tender documents, descriptive specifications, process flow diagrams (P\&ID), and electrical diagrams to fully understand the scope of supply for panels and installations; * Preparing technical and financial commercial proposals for low/medium-voltage panels, automation systems, and field infrastructure materials; * Quantifying materials (MTO), cables, and supports by interpreting field layout drawings and electrical routing design documents; * Planning direct and indirect cost structures applied to complex projects, ensuring accuracy in projected profit margins and simulated tax calculations; * Identifying and proposing more competitive and viable technical alternatives that deliver cost savings and efficiency for the client's sanitation/industrial project; * Requesting quotations for specific medium/low-voltage and automation components from approved suppliers and partners, negotiating delivery timelines and commercial terms; * Clearly and systematically describing the technical scope, exclusions, and commercial conditions in the final proposal submitted to the client; * Providing technical support and assistance to external sales and engineering teams during alignment meetings and client Q&A sessions; * Maintaining up-to-date databases of electrical material pricing and product structure within the company’s ERP system. We seek a professional who has previously performed: * Tender document and descriptive specification analysis, field and infrastructure material quantification, preparation of technical and commercial proposals, and supplier engagement and negotiation across the electrical supply chain; * Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD/EPLAN) for project verification is desirable; experience with medium-voltage components and industrial automation equipment is also preferred; **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Production Engineering, or Technologist in Electrotechnology, or related fields.
